Congratulations to our very own NW Bowling Coach, Gerry Lobdell for induction into the Michigan High School Interscholastic Bowling Coaches Association Hall of Fame. We are extremely proud and excited for this great milestone of Coach Lobdell's coaching career.  

Sunday, 4.13.25, NW Bowling Coach Gerry Lobdell was inducted into the Michigan High School Interscholastic Bowling Coaches Association Hall of Fame.  This award was presented by Suzy Thayer a long time Jackson coach and someone who he grew up around in the bowling community.  Coach Lobdell was able to receive this award with his parents, and wife present at the ceremony.

Twenty five years ago Mel Wolf started high school bowling in Jackson. Coach Lobdell was fortunate enough to bowl his senior year of high school.  The following year he took over as the Head Bowling Coach at Jackson Northwest.  Twenty four years later here we are.

While the wins and state titles have been a blessing, Coach Lobdell's favorite coaching memory will always be having the opportunity to coach his brother during his high school career.  He looks forward to coaching his four children someday as well.
 
Stated by Coach Lobdell: "To all the players past and present.  Thank you for always buying into what Mountie Bowling is all about.  Without you we would not have the legacy that we have.  I have enjoyed every year and look forward to many more.  Some of you I am starting to see again as your kids are entering the program.(Crazy)  I always enjoy watching former players go on and have success in life!!
