Friday 4.11.25 - Onsted
The lady Mounties had a great day sweeping every flight to win 8-0 against Onsted. The girls started off slow but quickly gained momentum to secure the win without dropping a set. Highlights from this match include the 1 doubles team of Lindsea Baker and Addison Surbrook winning in convincing fashion 6-0 6-0. With 8 new athletes in the varsity lineup the girls continue to get better each day.
Saturday 4.12.25 - Coldwater and Three Rivers
Coldwater/Three Rivers- The Mounties traveled to Coldwater to compete in a tri meet against Coldwater and Three Rivers. First the Mounties played Coldwater where they fell 0-8. The girls played hard and competed against an experienced Coldwater team. Melia Piloske had a hard fought match but after 2 hours of competing she fell 6-3 7-5. The girls learned a lot from this match and will use it to continue to get better.
Following this match the ladies competed against Three Rivers where they secured a 5-3 win. In a close match, every point mattered. Each singles flight and 3 doubles won their matches for the Mounties. Lily Drake won her match 6-0 6-0 helping the team win. The Mounties sit at 2-2 and open conference play Monday(4/14) at 4pm against Harper Creek.
