The Junior Varsity girls basketball team fell to Western Friday night, 49–29, moving their record to 15–4 on the season. The Mounties played a strong first half and trailed by just five at halftime, but couldn’t match the Panthers’ energy in the second half, getting outscored 17–4 in the third quarter.

Leading the way for the Mounties was Alexis Artibee with 9 points. Rileigh McKnight added 7 points, while Elliot LePeak contributed 5 points and pulled down 5 rebounds in the effort.

The Mounties will look to bounce back Tuesday at Grand Ledge with tip off at 5:30.  Go Mounties!
