The Northwest 8th Grade A team delivered an impressive performance Wednesday night, cruising to a decisive 58–4 victory over Coldwater Community Schools. With only six eligible players available, every Mountie stepped up and contributed in a true team effort.

Northwest showcased its offensive depth, with three players reaching double figures. Hailey Corravo led the way with a game-high 16 points, while Aliyah Olivier added 15. Jazarra Jordan also had a strong showing, finishing with 10 points. Saleen Pulley made her presence felt on both ends of the floor, scoring 9 points and creating multiple turnovers with relentless defensive pressure. Jahni Moore chipped in 6 points, and Gracelind Bosilovick rounded out the scoring with 4.

The Mounties’ defense was the story of the night, applying constant pressure and making it extremely difficult for Coldwater to even advance the ball past half court. Their intensity and teamwork set the tone from start to finish.

Northwest will look to carry that momentum into their next matchup as they host cross-town rival Western School District on Monday.
