The 7th grade Mountie A basketball team made the cold journey to Harper Creek Wednesday night to open their season. After a very hard fought battle, the ladies earned the victory winning 45-39.

The Northwest 7th Grade Girls B Team battled hard in a close matchup against Harper Creek, falling just short with a final score of 22–23. The girls showed grit and determination all game long, keeping it tight from start to finish and never backing down.

Leading the scoring for Northwest was Emaria Acree with 8 points. Isabella Harrington and Nevaeh Summers each added 6 points, while Oliyah Shannon chipped in 2. It was a true team effort with strong defense and hustle throughout the game.
 

The girls will be back in action on Monday at home against Western, with tip-off set for 4:00 PM. Come out and support these hardworking ladies!
