8th Grade Girls Basketball Tryouts:

Monday      January 5th Tryouts 2:30pm-4:30 pm @ Middle School

Tuesday      January 6th Tryouts 2:30pm-4:30 pm @ Middle School

Wednesday January 7th  Tryouts 2:30pm-4:30 pm @ Middle School

*Finals cuts will be made Wednesday

Players trying out need to get dressed and be on the floor ready to go by 2:30.  Players are expected to be on time to tryouts and picked up on time. 

Your daughter NEEDS TO HAVE A COMPLETED ONLINE REGISTRATION - - - INCLUDING PHYSICAL or medical questionnaire - - - TURNED IN TO

Kids that played volleyball or ran cross-country  are all set with this requirement. 

No one can try-out for the basketball team without registration approval from the athletic office the first day of tryouts!   (NO EXCEPTIONS) 

There will be two 8^TH grade teams (“A” & “B”).  All 8^th graders will tryout together competing for a spot on one of the two teams.  There is no set number of players that we intend to keep.  The exact number of kids kept will depend on many factors.  Some of these factors are attitude, effort, basketball fundamental skills, basketball IQ, communication, being coachable,  toughness, teamwork, athletic ability, listening skills, grades, behavior, and attendance. 

Tryouts will be CLOSED to parents. 

Playing Time: If your child makes the team, absolutely no playing time will be guaranteed.
