Cross Country Runs at Concord

The Northwest cross country teams ran at Concord High School yesterday evening. The girl's team finished 9th out of 11 teams and the boy's team finished 8th out of 12 teams. Northwest had 11 athletes competing and 8 had personal records overall or on that course.
The girls were led by Kenzi Reader in 48th place. She was followed by Eleanor Shirkey in 50th place. Stephanie Ibeson and Natalia Ernest raced to the finish line with Ibeson 3 tenths of a second faster.
The boys were led by Kolbe Uphaus in 44th place. Gibson Goodrich was next in 54th and was followed by Mattox Keathley in 56th place and Michael Goodwin in 58th. The next group was Tyler Haselius in 61st place, Alex Reader in 65th and Blake Flynn in 75th place.
The cross country team will compete in Springport next Wednesday, September 3rd.
